Yómarí is a small but fast growing dynamic company that focuses exclusively in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence consulting for large retailers. We are currently looking for motivated Technical/Development Consultants who want to be a part of a seasoned team of BI professionals working with clients to facilitate the design, development and implementation of successful Enterprise Data Warehouse systems.

The Implementation Lead is responsible for providing direction to Yómarí technical and functional consultants on data warehouse application and retail industry knowledge in order to facilitate the successful implementation of enterprise BI systems deployment.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Work with client project management and architecture teams to plan BI implementation projects, including proposing alternate strategies for data integration and phased implementation roll-outs
  
  Provide daily work direction and quality oversight of Yómarí software engineers within a larger client project team
  
  
• Define system configuration requirements, identify functional and technical gaps, and recommend architectural and software modifications to deliver the client's BI system requirements
  
  
• Performing application enhancements and modifications, while mentoring and reviewing the implementation deliverables from junior Yómarí consultants
  
  
• Oversight and validation of successful execution of unit, system and integration test plans
  
  
• Facilitating the logging, reporting, and resolution of application issues as needed
  
  
• Participating in supporting production environment as necessary.
  
  
• Assist Yómarí consultants in the analysis, design, development and testing of high-volume data conversion scripts, often across different database platforms
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a Computer Science or related field and 5-8+ years of related experience (development and/or systems integration preferred)
  
  
• Retail industry experience or an associated Retail IT field
  
  
• Professional approach when dealing with both internal and external customers, including clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  
  
• Hands-on experience with creating and delivering software development and implementation process documentation (technical and functional designs, project plans, change requests, architectural specifications, detailed test plan documents, etc.)
  
  
• Familiarity with software implementation project management including providing staffing, resource, and tasking updates to project and program management leads
  
  
• Experience with BI tools, ETL tools, databases (such as Teradata, DB2, Oracle, Netezza), database modeling and design, UNIX (shell scripting)
  
  
• High degree of initiative, accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
  


• Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with proprietary information
  


• Strong ability to proactively identify and resolve issues
  


• Ability to be flexible and adapt to change in a small dynamic organization
  


• Proven time management skills
  


• Ability to travel 75%
